In order to complete Contacts & Visits in MyAFS you required to have the following trainings:
- DoS (Department of State) Local Coordinator Training (annually)
- HSA (Hosting and Support Affiliation) Online Training (annually)
If you would like to take the next step and become a liaison - Liaisons are required to have the following trainings:
- DoS (Department of State) Local Coordinator Training (annually)
- HSA (Hosting and Support Affiliation) Online Training (annually)
- Liaison Online Training
Many teams also hold local in-person liaison trainings. It is highly recommended that new liaisons attend the in-person training if offered. These in-person trainings are a great opportunity to discuss issues specific to your community, schools, families etc., as well as to meet other liaisons and the volunteers who manage the support structure in your area.
