Global Link is a database of people and schools used by AFS-USA staff and volunteers. Many of our AFS partner countries also use a version of Global Link which helps make the transfer of student and host family applications easier between partners.
All AFS-USA volunteers have access to Global Link once they are fully registered. The first view of Global Link will be the MyAFS Snapshot. However, there are more features to Global Link than currently appear on MyAFS.
A volunteer's specific view of Global Link depends on training completed as well as affiliations assigned. If you aren't able to find something you are seeking in Global Link, please talk to your Volunteer Coordinator, Chair or TDS. They can help you determine if you need a new affiliation or new instructions to find what you seek.
There is often more than one way to find the same information in Global Link. So, if the information you find here in Help & Learning is a little different from the way you learned how to do something, don't worry.
