How do I find Program Specific Information?
To learn more about each country, you can learn more by selecting the country, here. This information can be found under the 'The Essentials' tab and is updated annually.
Are there any AFS programs for students after high school including gap year programs?
Yes! Some of our traditional high school programs accept students who have already graduated in the U.S. The Sending Programs Report lists these programs. Click here for more information about our 18+ programs.
It is important to note that students will be expected to participate fully in their host school experience, regardless of their graduation status. You can consider these as AFS programs that allow participants who are between 18 years and 0 months and 19 years and 0 months to participate, but they are not designed as "Gap Year" programs, per se.
