Area Team Chairs should identify their NH22 Arrival Orientation Coordinator and Travel Representative by May 1 and ensure they have the appropriate “Hosting Arrival Orientation Coordinator” and “Travel Representative” affiliation in Global Link.
Refresher Training for Travel Representatives will be conducted in 29 July 2022. For reference, recordings of the training sessions (delivered by geographical area) for NH21 can be found here.
Each Area Team receiving NH22 participants can identify an Arrival Orientation Coordinator who is responsible for coordinating the arrival of NH22 participants and delivery of Area Team participants’ Arrival Orientation (a Department of State program requirement).
The Travel Representative will work closely with the Arrival Orientation Coordinator to schedule volunteers to meet students and/or host families for pick up. The Travel Rep will also work closely with AFS-USA Travel and Logistics staff prior to arrivals and especially on the days of travel.
