Once you complete an interview, you must submit your findings. Using MyAFS is the fastest and easiest way to submit an interview but you also have the option to submit an interview through Global Link or by email.
To submit an interview in MyAFS:
- On MyAFS, click Interviews in the navigation bar.
- Click Log in the Status column. (If you have not claimed the interview yet, the Log button will not be visible. You'll need to claim the interview first.)
- Complete the interview form.
- Click Submit button at bottom of form to submit to AFS, or click Save As Draft to save the form to complete later.
To submit an interview in Global Link:
Host Family Interview Form:
- Submitting a Form D in Global Link (note: you can find a blank Form D here if desired)
- You can also email the completed host family interview form to hostingpaperwork@afsusa.org and/or your Regional Field Specialist (RFS).
Study Abroad Interview Form:

View Completed Interviews:
MyAFS provides a quick view of all applicants who completed interviews in the last 60 days. This helps teams track recent interviews and progress. If you need to view submitted interviews details, you can do that on Global Link.
To view applicants who completed an interview within the past 60 days:
- On MyAFS, click Interviews in the navigation bar.
- Click the Completed tab to view applicants with completed interviews.
