I changed my password, but I still can’t log in.
- Some volunteers have multiple accounts with AFS. Make sure you reset the correct password.
- If you are using Internet Explorer, try a different browser. MyAFS performs best on Firefox, Chrome, and Edge.
Global Link/MyAFS remembers my old password; I need to update it to my new password.
- Your web browser can save, among other things, your passwords for different websites. This can make it easier for you to log into frequently-used websites so that you do not need to fill in your password each time. However, if you change your password, this new password is not always automatically updated.

I get the error: “401: Access Denied”
Completely close out of your browser (Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari etc). Make sure that all tabs and windows are closed. Then, reopen your browser and try to access Global Link/MyAFS again.
