If a support situation/behavioral issue does not warrant the traditional support tools such as Plan for Success, Support Agreement, and/or Warning Letter, yet there is a need to remind a student of AFS’ rules and expectations in writing, we recommend that volunteers consider utilizing a one-pager.
One-pagers serve as an alternative method for outlining and addressing issues with a participant and may respond to various situations. One-pagers may also serve the purpose of providing succinct information or clarity on possible areas of confusion or misunderstanding (i.e. AFS's academic expectations).
Work with your Participant Support and Learning Staff to learn more about this growing library of one-pagers and the circumstances under which they may best be utilized/implemented.
Currently available one-pagers can be accessed below.
Most one-page resources are sections of the Hosted Participant Help & Learning platform, so volunteers are always welcome and encouraged to review the platform with their participants and courage the continued use of welcome materials as resources throughout the program.
