More than likely, each of us has at least one account on some social media platform. Do you know how to use these tools to build community-wide awareness and engagement around AFS?
This "Influencer Marketing 101: Opening Schools and Deepening relationships" presentation was designed specifically for our volunteers around the country to be able to read through and see examples to understand the marketing cycle and its potential to positively impact schools and communities. That positive impact is what can bolster hosting and study abroad numbers as well as help you find champions in schools that want to know how we support their work as educators!
Jamie Cohen, a volunteer from Connecticut and the Southern New England Area Team, spells out the step-by-step process to not only promote hosting AFS students but also how this will build the positive image of the schools and the entities that support exchange throughout the community. When the positive messages continue to be posted, printed, and released, they bring positive feelings to all who have engaged with AFS.
