Emergency Placements
Make sure your team has emergency families identified who understand that they might be asked to temporarily host a student going through support-related challenges.
Emergency placement families should be informed of and agree to the possibility that a student they might be asked to host could either be exposed to or diagnosed with COVID-19.
We recommend all teams have at least one emergency family identified who understands and accepts this possibility. You can check your team’s crisis plan in the Team widget on MyAFS to make sure your team has such families identified.
See the What if my student needs to move this cycle? article for more information.
